Ahuntsic lot front

So the dream is that much closer to reality. Ann and I have released our final conditions on the purchase of this vacant lot in Ahuntsic. After years of searching the MLS listings (every day!) we managed to jump on this lot soon after it was posted. We are required to build a duplex or triplex on the lot, and we are in the midst of recruiting some friends to join us in this venture. Hopefully we will be enjoying our new home in a couple of years. This will change our present renovation plans for St. Urbain- scaled down so that we can sell/rent it when the time comes. Very excited!

last week while my parents were here, we went out to Boucherville for a look at the house. By the time these photos are posted, the clients will be in the middle of moving in- though there is still some work remaining.

monkey

Hello- sorry for the long lag between posts. My parents were here for a week (after a week in ottawa) and the weather was great - here is a photo from a park in Westmount. Ann and I went to a Mauritanian restaurant around the corner for her birthday, while my parents babysat. Then we headed home for some cake (courtesy of Mark) and other treats with the usual suspects.

The OSM is now on strike, so luckily more work has come my way (via Ottawa)- just in time!

Hopefully the strike will be resolved favourably and hopefully it doesn't drag out forever.

News/photos regarding Ahuntsic to follow soon!

Loser

Ken's hot tip:
Don't rub your eyes after crushing dried chilies with your fingers.
Ouch.
