LL @ Botanical Gardens
Today we went to the botanical gardens with LL's daycare - for the annual butterfly exhibit. Ann and I both felt that this year we saw more interesting species than last year.

Webcam
My friend Graham pointed out that OS10.4.9. for Mac supports certain USB webcams so I went out and picked up this little bad boy. The point of this is of course, if you are using skype or ichat or AIM let me know- the LL-cam is now going live to air!

OK- so the new internet connection is working perfectly, except I've already exceeded my upload/download limits so I think I'll have to upgrade from basic service to high speed. Last weekend Ann had a baroque gig in the Eastern townships so LL and I tagged along for a free night's stay at the Auberge West Brome. It snowed HEAVILY that weekend, so we rented a car (Yaris) and had a nice quiet time in Brome. Sat night while Ann had her concert LL and I looked for a place to eat and then wound up back at the Auberge for dinner. It was a fine dining experience with most of the other tables being couples on weekend getaways. LL and I (and his trains) sat at a nice table for two and we shared the table d'hote. He didn't care for the foie gras tartine but the sweet potato/turnip soup and the white fish were well received. To top off the fine menu we shared the sorbet/ice cream dessert and then headed back to the room in time for bedtime.
This week I finally had a doctor's appointment (after a few months' wait). Elections were today so we'll soon find out who heads our minority government.

New email address
My DSL connection finally bit the dust after a year of heartache and constant resetting of modem. I am now using cable internet and have a new email address. Please delete my primus.ca address (I will be closing that account in a week or two) and use my new email address which I will be emailing you shortly. If you don't get an email from me in the next few days let me know. I was going to post my new address here but now I'm imagining all that extra spam that I would be opening myself up to. Ann will have a new address too- but customer service won't be able to fix that until tomorrow- I hope.

Mount Royal sledding
Last weekend we took LL to Mount Royal for some morning toboganing- he was more content to watch us go down.
