On the weekend Ann organized a camping trip just outside of Montreal (Oka). It was faaaantastic. Nice beach (packed with people) with soft sand (gently sloping), a quiet camping spot a short walk to the beach, and no mosquitoes! (The no mosquito thing sealed the deal for me.) We left a couple of items in our kitchen (coleman stove and bread) but managed to find an Amway matchbook in our car (perhaps left from the car's original owners- Care to confirm that SAHM?). On our way home- stopped to pick up some local corn, raspberries, strawberries, pie and good ol' Tim's. Decided to pass on the cheese on this trip. Anyways, looking forward to another trip there soon!
ps. If you go to Oka, be warned that strangers that you strike up conversations with will inevitably leave their 2-year olds with you to watch over. This seemed to happen each time we went down to the beach. The first time, the dad was at least somewhere on the beach. The second time a mom decided to go back to her campsite. Of course after a few minutes her little boy began to wonder where his family was so I ended up carrying him off the beach, across the parking lot and to the campsites.

Nainai says,
as long as you don't leave LL alone in the kitchen or on top of your car and drive away, you are OK.
Looks like Ann can cook up a magic out of anything. Lucky U!
